Quotes from my math teacher...

The title really says it all. Mr. Williamson, my math/history teacher, is the founder of the Space Center. Like, he actually built it and came up with the idea all by himself. So, we went to the Space Center on a field trip last week. It was really fun. Anyways, he was telling us all about how he founded it, was it was about, etc... So, here's some really funny quotes I quickly wrote down while he was talking... ;D :D These are just a couple of them...:D ;D

                                                               Quotes from my math teacher:

"So, we went to a field trip to Japan, and I ran into this Catholic Nun who has a spaceship in her classroom."
"So why dont the aliens just land on the White House lawn and say hi?"
"The inspector people didn't like my staircase."
"These brain pills (Actually M&Ms) are made specially from Gazelle Sweat."
"So if you ever want to get smart, go lick a Gazelle!"

I Have Failed

Obviously, I have failed at blogging. I've been doing a 30 day blog challenge, but since I have failed at that, I've  decided that I'm just going to stop doing it. So, instead of doing one of the challenges, I'm going to start doing the "Quotes of the Month" every month. These are just funny and random quotes me and my family say. Here they are...

Quotes of the Month!

"You just have to go back to the giant guy, and get some soup!"-Jill

Jill: "I don't even think I can cheat at this game to let you win. This isn't Candyland."
Grace: "Oh... Wait, what?!"

Dad: "Does Snickers like grapes?"
Grace: "No. She walks around with them in her mouth trying to like them, but then she just spits them out."

Grace: "Oh! It says the Parting Glass, not the Farting Glass!"
Mom: "Yes. It's a glass that you can collect your farts in, and you can share them with others. Apparently there's things I haven't told you yet!"

Jill: "I'm craving queso dip."
Mom: "......We have alfredo sauce!"

"That would be better than being cooked inside a human pita pocket!"-Ty

"END OF DAYS!!!"-Mom

Grace: "What did you say that was, Ry? Oocu?"
Jill: "The evil Voldemort chicken?!"
Ryan: "It was UCCU!"

 "Woof!"-Snickers

"I just licked the flashlight."-Grace

"I am really convinced that Snickers can read my mind."-Grace

"I really want to eat that beaver. Go sit in that post it note."-Grace

"You can smell the clown?!"-Mom to Jill

Day 12: Describe a typical day in your life

My days go a little like this:

First, I wake up grudgingly at 7:00 to the sound of my alarm clock that makes me almost think a bomb is going off, because it's so terrifying. Second, I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth and put my contacts in. Then, I go into my mom's room and watch the news for about 15 minutes, and then finally go get dressed, which takes me about five-ten minutes to do. Then, I go into my mom's room again and watch the news and eat breakfast. After that, my mom does my hair while I'm on Instagram, Snapchat, Tiny Tower, and Twitter. Then I finally go to school.
My school schedule:

8:00-9:00--Language Arts
9:00-9:30--History (Feels like an eternity)
9:30-10:00--Specialty (Mon. Art, Tues. Music, Wed. Library, Thurs. P.E.)
10:00-11:05--Language Arts
11:05-11:20--Flex
11:20-11:40--Lunch
11:40-12:25--Chinese
12:25-1:00--Language Arts
1:00-2:00--Math
2:00-3:00--Science

After I get home, I usually get on the computer and do the following: Check my e-mail, blog, and do Buzzmath. Then, I actually do my real homework which is math pretty much every day. After I finish my homework, I watch T.V. until my mom gets home, and then we have dinner. We have scrambled eggs on Mondays, but the rest of the week, we have something else. Then, at the end of the day, I take my contacts out, brush my teeth, and my mom reads Harry Potter to me. (We're currently on #6) And last, I go to bed.

Day 11: Describe a few of your pet peeves.

You probably noticed that I skipped #s 9 & 10. # 9 was: What defines you? I didn't want to do that one, because I couldn't think of ANYTHING to write about that. I thought for about 15 minutes about it, and I couldn't come up with anything. # 10 was: Describe your most embarrassing moment. I can think of plenty times I could talk about, but I did not want to write about any of them. :) So, I'm going to skip to # 11. This might take a while... :)

1. I absolutely hate it when my family leaves the leftover time on the microwave. It's not because I can't see the time, I just absolutely hate it for some unknown reason.
2. I hate it when, at school, I walk into the bathroom to check my hair or something, and five other girls are in there either talking, or checking their hair too. I just think it's really awkward, because I just walk in there for three seconds and then leave.
3. I hate it when, for example, my family leaves an EMPTY pizza box in the fridge, tricking me into thinking there's pizza in there. Then, when I go to open it, there's nothing in there.
4. I hate it when, in my Irish Dance class, people don't dance to the beat.
5. (Last but not least) I hate it when people at school don't push their chairs in, because I either trip over them, or I have to climb over their chair to get across because they're standing in front of it.

Those are some of my pet peeves. I have what seems like billions more, but I don't think I could type all of those down "quick". :)

Day 8: What are three passions you have?

The three passions I have, are Irish Dancing, my family,( I can't think of anything else I'm passionate about so I'll just say texting.)
One of my passions is Irish Dancing, because I love to do it.:) I don't really know why I love to do it. I guess it's just in my genes.
I love my family, because, well they're my family! I love them with all of my heart, and I don't know what I would do without them. I'm like the car, and they're like the engine, they're the ones who keeps me going every day. (Great simile, huh?:P) They always help me, and they're always there for me.
I know that texting doesn't really count as a passion, but I couldn't think of anything else that I could write a paragraph about.:) I hate texting on real phones. I can't explain it, I just prefer to type on an i Pod. Sometimes I text so much, my thumbs hurt really bad afterwards! This may or may not be true, but I think I've texted so much, that I could probably text at 35 WPM. I can't tell if I want that to be true or not.:) Those are my three passions I have.

Day 7: What is your dream job and why?

My dream job is to become either a mom, a scientist, an author, or a teacher. I want to become a mom, because well, I love kids!
I want to become a scientist, because I love science. I love doing experiments, and learning new things every day. If I become a scientist, I'll have my lab overfilled with papers and new ideas for experiments. My favorite thing to learn about science every day is probably either microorganisms, or heat. The phases of the moon seem to kinda bore me, but I still like learning how the moon reflects off the sun, and that's how the moon phases are made, stuff like that. Those are really the only things we've been talking about this year. I don't remember anything about science last year. :)
I want to become an author, because I love to write! I have tons and tons and tons of ideas for books that I'm planning to write. As you can see, I have a blog because my teacher recommended that I get one so I can practice writing in front of people, and that I'm a really good writer. :) I can't wait to get one of my books published some day!
I want to become a teacher, because as I said before, I love kids! I really want to teach 6th grade, because teaching in k-4th grade is boring because it would be really easy. 5th grade is a little bit hard, but 6th grade is harder. And I would want to teach Language Arts and Science.:) I also really want to decorate my room. I don't have any specific ideas for how I'll decorate my room, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be awesome!:) That is why I want to be a mom, a scientist, an author, and a teacher!

Day 6: What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced?

The hardest thing I've ever experienced, is math. I do well in science, language arts, and history, but I don't do well in math. At all. I get things like multiplying, division, interests, stuff like that. But Im not at all good at percents, proportions, etc. I do think its kinda think its weird that I'm good at interests, but I'm terrible at percents. My math teacher set up this website for us called BuzzMath. It's really just like online math. He puts math problems on it for us and if we get 100%, we get a gold star, and if you get a lot of gold stars, you could bring your grade up to an A. I currently have a B.;( I wouldn't say that I suck at math, but I'm really bad at it!:) That is the hardest thing I've ever experienced.
